Life Studies is a semi-regular time/space to draw together in the Hudson Valley.

Each session hosts a model and is self-guided. The facilitator will give a brief technical introduction for beginners and some optional tactics or considerations to focus in on presence, observation, and play through drawing. No experience is necessary. Session includes gentle music and library energy.

Some sessions include costume and props, others are use a more traditional figure drawing set up.

Fees are sliding scale and differ depending on the location so be sure to consult the calendar details. Fees go towards paying the model, and contribute to the facilitator/space. Participants are encouraged to bring any materials they'd like to use as well as any snacks etc. for their comfort.
